London Market Finance are a boutique finance practice that specialises in serving a carefully selected and managed network of Insurance Intermediaries and Service Companies in the UK with a ‘hands free’ virtual finance function.
With almost two decades of industry experience across the team, we are confident we can ensure the finance function is a great investment rather than another overhead for your business.
We are not your traditional finance team. LMF wants to distance itself from the negative connotations surrounding accountants being dull, faceless and corporate. It is important that our members feel connected to the team and are able to put a face to the name.
LMF has an established strategy and a powerful customer value proposition, executed by a proven management team, and utilises experienced professionals and the latest cloud technology to create and operate ‘Best In Class’ virtual finance functions for a portfolio of insurance SMEs.

Face Behind London Market Finance
Having originally trained and qualified as a Certified Chartered Accountant within a well-respected accountancy practice in Essex, I gained a vast array of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, taxation, payroll and audit for a wide array of owner-managed and small businesses before gaining commercial experience reporting for the Aviation division of a FTSE 250 listed group.
I later found my true passion when I entered the London Insurance Market working for the leading third-party managing agency at Lloyd’s. There, I controlled the services company, MGA Investment Platform and most rewarding of all, acting as the Head of Finance of a Dubai-based start-up MGA.
Having decided the insurance market is where I wanted to spend my career, I needed a new challenge, so I joined a startup insurance group as the second hire after the CFO playing a pivotal role in getting accounting ledgers, systems, processes and financial reporting implemented and running seamlessly helping to facilitate core foundations for rapid expansion.
During this time, I was also heavily involved in getting the Insurance Agency accounting up and running and paying over monies quickly to the Insurer.
As the group grew, there became a huge need for a Group Reporting Manager role. In this, I successfully onboarded, integrated and consolidated the monthly results of circa 100 legal entities in over 9 countries ranging from Service entities, Insurance Agencies, MGA’s and an Insurer. The group is now worth $2.25bn after just 3.5 years of trading.
